Introduction to Guilin

Guilin, the Beautiful
Guiin, located in the northeastern part of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, China, is a city very well known to the world for its unique beauty of mountains and rivers, and possessing a long history and rich culture.
The beauty of Guilin is characterized by its green hills, crystal-clear waters, spectacular rocks, and fantastic caves. Since ancient time, literati have eulogized its beauty in their poetry as shown in the lines by a poet of the Tang Dynasty “The rivers run like blue ribbons and the hills stand like jade hairpins.” Painters have expressed their appreciation of its fascinating beauty in their paintings, which has made Guilin the home of landscape painting. And photographers have recorded its natural beauty with their creativity through their camera lens. The 80-kilometer river cruise from Guilin to Yangshuo Town seems to a long corridor of art galaxy. The caves which are found in each rocky hill display the glittering stalagmites and stalactites which resemble things in our imagination.
The Ming Jingjiang Princes’ Mansion, the Guilin Ming Tombs, the Qin Lingqu Canal, the 1000-year-old Xingping Town, and the numerous cliff inscriptions found around Guilin, the Eighth-Route Army Office, the Buddhist temples, the Christian churches, the Muslim mosques, and the Longsheng terraced fields may bring us back to the history of the Chinese people. of various nationalities. In the past few years, Guilin has undergone urban reconstruction which makes Guilin more modern and beautiful, combining natural beauty and artificial beauty.
Guilin is prepared to welcome friend from around the world!
