Guangxi Normal University's Office of International Exchanges is an executive body in charge of the university's international exchanges and cooperation. By way of international communication, it is responsible for promoting international exchanges between the university and its counterparts overseas in the fields of education, science and technology, academic research, and industry in order to improve the quality of teaching, raise the level of scientific research and increase the effectiveness of the school's operation. It helps the university to lay down rules and regulations and draw up plans in relation to foreign affairs, and to coordinate and deal with all activities concerning foreign affairs. It helps with the formalities for the teaching staff and administrators at various levels to go abroad on official visits, for study, teaching, working, cooperation in the fields of science and technology, and attending symposia and conferences. It deals with the formalities for visiting foreigners and foreign organizations invited by the university presidents. It is in charge of the verification and formalities of foreign experts and teachers invited to teach at the university, and helps the employing departments to look after them. It receives visiting foreigners and friends, and offers advice on international communication activities. It has a head office, an entry and exit formalities section, an international students administration section and foreign experts & international students service center.
