各位国际学生：
本学期即将结束，现将期末安排和寒期注意事项通知如下：
一、寒期放假和下学期开学时间安排：
学校定于2025年1月11日（星期六）开始放寒假；2月23日（星期日）新学期报到注册，2月24日（星期一）正式上课。
二、本学期毕（结）业国际学生，请于2025年1月10日前办理完离校手续，并于1月15日前离校，离校前到育才校区国际教育交流中心1号楼前台退还房卡或钥匙（雁山校区住宿的学生除外）。如需延期离校，请1月8日前提交书面申请，获得批准后按日计算房费。
三、寒假期间留校或回国的非毕（结）业国际学生，请于2025年1月3日前在线填写寒假去向登记表（近日已发校生微信群里）。放假期间，雁山校区留校的学生，统一由学校安排在育才校区宿舍居住。
四、寒假注意事项：
1.寒假留校的同学，请严格遵守中国法律、法规和学校纪律，继续做好流感预防；请注意尊重中国风俗习惯。
2.寒假期间，在华学生尽量不要离开桂林市区，如因特殊情况需离开桂林的，应向国际学生管理老师提交请假单，获批准后方可离开。
3.假期出行人员较多，外出活动时请注意做好个人防护，人员密集的地方，戴好口罩，注意人身、交通、财产、饮食、用火用电、防溺水等安全事项，应自觉遵守公共安全秩序,不能无证驾驶机动车辆,不要到江、河或湖里游泳。
4.外来人员进入宿舍需在国教中心1号楼前台或保安室登记，禁止擅自留宿校外人员，禁止在学生宿舍内留宿异性。
5.请不要在宿舍大声喧哗、播放音乐和吵闹，自觉遵守作息制度，22:00以前回到学校宿舍，24:00点以后不再外出，不得无故晚归或夜不归宿。
6.严禁私藏易燃、易爆等危险物品，严禁乱扔烟头和燃放烟花爆竹。
7.同学们如有身体不适，请及时到医院就诊并告知国际学生管理科老师。
8.请认真查看自己的签证有效期限，如在放假期间到期，请于2025年1月10日前到育才校区国际教育交流中心2号楼213办公室办理相关手续。

Notice on Winter Vacation
Dear all international students,
The winter vacation is approaching and we would like to inform you of the arrangements as follows:
1. The winter vacation starts on January 11, 2025. International students are required to go through registration procedures for spring semester on February 22. The new semester begins on February 24, 2025.
2. Those who have finished their study are required to complete the formalities of leaving campus at Office 213 of Block 2, International Education Center, Yucai Campus before January 10, 2025 and leave before January 15, 2025. Please return your room card or key to reception of Block 1, International Education Center before leaving school. Students who need to suspend to leave the campus are required to submit application letter before January 8, 2025 and pay for the accommodation fee by the day after approval.
3. For those students who decide to stay on campus during the vacation, you are required to finish the questionnaire online before January 3, 2025 (Questionnaire has been sent to the WeChat group chat already). Students on Yanshan Campus are required to move into the dormitory on Yucai Campus during the vacation.
4. Tips for on-campus students:
(1) You must abide by the laws and regulations of China and GXNU, continue to conduct flu prevention and control and respect and conform to Chinese customs.
(2) Please stay in Guilin city, if you have any emergency to leave Guilin, you are required to submit the leave application and get approval from teachers of Office of International Students Affairs.
(3) Please pay attention to personal safety, abide by traffic laws and protect your personal properties. Please ensure safe electrical operation. Fire and electric heating devices are forbidden in the dormitory. Don't drive motor vehicles including motorbike, automobile, and etc. without driving license. Don't swim in rivers or lakes.
(4) All visitors should register at the reception of Block 1, International Education Center or security office when entering the dormitory. Students are not allowed to keep visitors overnight in the dormitory and it is forbidden to stay overnight in the room with the opposite sex.
(5) Students shall follow the school work-rest schedule strictly and not make noise in dormitory. Students shall be back to dormitory before 22:00 and not go out after 24:00. Without specific reason students must not stay late out or stay out all night.
(6) Storage of flammables or explosives of any type, throwing cigarette butts on ground and lighting fireworks and firecrackers are prohibited.
(7) If you don't feel well, please go to the hospital and inform teachers of Office of International Students Affairs as soon as possible.
(8) Please check the valid date of your residence permit carefully. If your residence permit expires during the vacation, you are required to submit the documents and extend it before January 10, 2025.
